Ever Wondered what’s inside a Piano?!
I’m really glad to have had my lovely piano tuned by Paul Corby today.
I sometimes open up the piano for my pupils to have a look inside- they are often very curious and love seeing the hammers play against the strings when they press notes down.
Maybe you’ve seen inside one before, or even seen someone like Coldplay’s Chris Martin playing a stripped back piano? Its all about exploring the sounds that are already there. Its more about discovery, and joining in with the music that has already started, than about us ‘making the music’! Understanding your instrument is a fun thing to do!
